For nearly a decade, Joseph Pinkava has helped providers navigate the complex medical insurance space. He has dedicated thousands of hours learning each area of the medical billing cycle which has provided him with a strong foundational knowledge of the industry. Previously, Joseph served as the Director of Revenue Cycle & Contracting for Pristine Medical Billing where he oversaw roughly $1.5 million per month in medical device claims. Additionally, he and his team helped over 250 providers negotiate fair insurance contracts that improved access and affordability of care for patients throughout the country. He believes these contracts are integral to providers building equity in their own businesses and to providing a pathway to treating more patients.

Joseph holds a Master’s in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, as well as a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and son, golfing, and training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
